Bowl season MVP so far

Hard to pass up Levi Williams leading Wyoming to a 52-38 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl win against Kent State. Williams became the first QB in FBS history with at least 200 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns in a bowl game. Oh, and he passed for 127 yards and another score.

Thursday’s bowls

Frisco Football Classic
North Texas vs. Miami (Ohio)

3:30 p.m., ESPN and the ESPN App

Storyline to watch: The RedHawks have one of the best passing offenses in the FBS, averaging 282.7 yards through the air per game (20th in the FBS). They’re led by quarterback Brett Gabbert, who has thrown for 2,418 yards, 24 touchdowns and six interceptions this season with a 58.2% completion percentage. If the RedHawks have success against North Texas (whose defense is 88th in SP+), Gabbert and the passing attack will be key. — Harry Lyles Jr.

Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl
UCF vs. Florida

7 p.m., ESPN and the ESPN App

Storyline to watch: The in-state matchup. UCF has wanted a matchup like this and it is getting it despite Florida having a down year and playing with an interim head coach. However, it will mean more to UCF than it will to Florida, which is getting ready to start a new regime under Billy Napier. — Harry Lyles Jr.

Best of bowl season

Well. Not sure how this really happened.

Lots of dance-offs happening this bowl season.

Oh, it’s on.

See Spot … dance?

Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl
Army 24, Missouri 22

Game. Winner. Good.

Army kicker Cole Talley nails the 41-yard field goal as time expires to win the Armed Forces Bowl.

Army’s Jakobi Buchanan was not about to be kept out of the end zone.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl

San Diego State’s Jesse Matthews took flight for the first of his two first-half touchdowns.

They’re not wrong.

Joe Anderson‘s day gets even better as Tulsa celebrates postgame.

R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl
Louisiana 36, Marshall 21

Make it 13 straight.

Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl pres. by Stifel
Utah State 24, Oregon State 13

When you have your own bowl, you can do this sort of thing.

Jimmy Kimmel tries his hand at the clarinet before the Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl.

Are you also scared of the dark?

Not bad for a first-timer.

LendingTree Bowl
Liberty 56, Eastern Michigan 20

Liberty reminds everyone of that perfect bowl record.

Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl
UAB 31, BYU 28

How do you stop this? You don’t.

PUBG Mobile New Mexico Bowl
Fresno State 31, UTEP 24

This is what everyone should think of when they think of a QB sneak.

Why you always keep your eyes on the ball.

Cricket Celebration Bowl
South Carolina State 31, Jackson State 10

South Carolina State’s celebrations are really just the best.

Not exactly sure what strategy this is, but it’s working quite well!

More trolling, please.

SC State QB Corey Fields Jr. finds Shaquan Davis for a touchdown, and Davis proceeds to mimic Deion Sanders’ TD dance.

Here we have a very on-brand Deion Sanders. Boca Raton Bowl
Western Kentucky 59, App State 38

Hats off to Bailey Zappe on an incredible year.

Bailey Zappe grabs the FBS record for touchdown passes in a season after finding receiver Mitchell Tinsley for his 61st TD pass of the year.

Why don’t all the bowls feature skydivers doing this?

House call!

Can we get the story behind this obvious friendship?

How do you prepare for a bowl game? You go bowling.

Tailgreeter Cure Bowl
Coastal Carolina 47, Northern Illinois 41

The best way to celebrate.

We love seeing all the new things teams come up with to celebrate big plays.

After Silas Kelly forces a turnover, his Coastal Carolina teammates celebrate by proclaiming him king, “Game Of Thrones” style.

In more of things that did not go according to plan.

Northern Illinois tries to take a trick play from “The Longest Yard,” but it doesn’t go as planned.

A good dog and a good chant: What more could you want?

The Chanticleers are definitely hyped up for Friday’s game.

And they’re cleaning up nicely.

Bahamas Bowl
Middle Tennessee 31, Toledo Rockets 24

In case it hasn’t been clear all season, we love big-man plays.

Well. It’s not what you want.

This touchdown is a thing of beauty.

Dequan Finn airs it out to Matt Landers, who bobbles the ball before pulling it in and racing away for an 90-yard score.

Keep all these amazing catches coming.

Jarrin Pierce makes a sensational catch as Middle Tennessee State marches down the field before Frank Peasant runs in for a touchdown.

Look at these views!

We’ve got plenty of great pregame action with this Bahamas Bowl dance-off.

All in on mayo

Are we … finally getting … a mayo shower? *Fingers crossed this happens.*
