Three times Sonam Kapoor slayed in pregnancy fashion

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is undoubtedly one of Bollywood’s biggest fashion trendsetters. Hence, it’s no surprise when this powerhouse redefines the meaning of pregnancy fashion. Pregnancy can be a period of discomfort for many women and so, Sonam has been spotted donning several comfortable yet stunning outfits during her pregnancy period.

From ethereal sarees to more casual pantsuits, here is how Sonam flaunted her baby bump over the months.

Black Kaftan

The Veere Di Wedding actor donned this gorgeous black Kaftan by Fil De Vie. This sheer kaftan served to be a comfortable yet enchanting outfit with lace on the edges, adorned with applique work. To dress it up, she acessorised the look with gold kundan earrings with a meenakari design, characterised by pink coloured enamel and black stones. Her makeup was by Savleen Manchanda who added an edgy element to the outfit with a heavy smokey eye look. Her hair was styled into a sleek low bun, maintaining the sophistication of the look.

The traditional drape

Embodying her inner Aphrodite, Sonam stunned in this Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla saree. This ivory garb was intricately styled by her sister Rhea Kapoor, draping the loose end over her shoulder and resting it onto her arm. The saree was silk and embellished with pearls on the edges. To amplify the graceful look of the attire, it was paired with traditional Indian gold jewellery by Sunita Kapoor. The kantha style necklace with kundan was coupled with heavy gold studs and a matching bracelet. The gold accented the silky ivory saree and the ensemble as a whole emphasised her pregnancy glow.

Comfortable in casual

We can’t help but dote over this stunning yet comfortable look that Sonam rocked at her husband, Anand Ahuja’s store launch. Maintaining a theme of comfort, she styled a white tank top with a blue-ish purple Paul Smith menswear blazer and pant combination. The casual element of the look was elevated with Nike sneakers, simple studs and a gold necklace. Soft glam by Indian makeup maestro Namrata Soni and an effortless open hair look completed the outfit.
