Markets across Punjab to be closed by 6 PM: CM Buzdar

Pertaining to the culminating cases of COVID-19, the provincial government of Punjab has decided to close down markets across all seven districts in the region by 6PM in wake of third unfortunate wave of virus.   

Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Usman Buzdar, has passed the order of closing down all markets in wake of rising Covid-19 cases being reported in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sargodha.

“Educational institutions, parks, indoor ceremonies, Mazars will remain close for 15 days,” Buzdar tweeted.

Moreover, it got decided in the cabinet committee meeting held to combat the coronavirus threat convened by Usman Buzdar to review the pandemic situation in the wake of the National Command and Operation Centre’s (NCOC) decision to re-impose restrictions due to a surge in virus
